After a goalless first half, Julio Losada gave Olympiakos the lead after sixty-two minutes. Paul Madeley equalised eight minutes later, before Mick Jones
quickly gave Leeds the lead just three minutes later. Oympiakos replied equally quickly as Panagiotis Papadimitriou brought back parity, just two minutes later
and that remained the score at full-time. Olympiakos made two changes in the second half, with Giorgos Vasilopoulos replacing Giannis Gaitatzis in the
